So after finally watching the Avengers, I noticed
just how common superhero movies have become within the last few years. So here
is- a praise to Marvel!
Since 1944, when Marvel was known as Timely comics,
different films based on the marvel characters have been made. And continued. Starting with the known Captain America;
Steve Rogers, a young boy who was transformed from short and petite, to the
example of human perfection, by an experiment intended to increase the US army
strength, during the war. His relevance to the World War, was what made him the
most known superhero.
Seeing this first films’ success, Marvel moved on to
make other films like: The Fantastic
Four, X-Men, Spider-man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, and this year’s The Avengers (My personal favorite). Leading
up to the Avengers are a
constellation of extensions from each film. Some extending into sequels, and
others into trilogies.
The
Avengers featured the superheroes in collaboration. Iron
Man, Thor, Hulk, and Captain America all work together to fight off the evil
villain; Loki (Thor’s adopted brother) who planned to destroy the earth with an
alien invasion.
But now that The
Avengers is out, what will be next? Another X-Men movie, another Avengers,
or maybe it’ll be another Thor. Well
Marvel has already released information that Iron Man 3 is already filming, and they’ve released their first set
shot.
And this time, his suits have a new design!
